Leitariegos Ski Resort Vacation Packages

Our visit was kind of a mixed bag. Mandalay Bay is well-maintained - everything looks great throughout the property, and the room was really nice and clean. The only facility issues were that the shower handle was kind of pulled out from the wall showing an exposed pipe and the sinks made quiet gurgling noises occasionally (neither of which was a big deal). The shortfall really came from the staff. We reserved a King bed for a mini-staycation away from the kids, but they ran out and gave us a QQ room with zero apology. It was my husband's bday so we asked if there was anything we could do. We agreed to take an accessible King, only to arrive at the room and find we were still in a QQ. Tried to call the front desk with no answer. At that point it wasn't worth it to walk back downstairs with our bags so we just stayed where we were. Starting with the front desk agent who checked us in, not a single employee was friendly to us until the VERY end of our stay when we met an extremely nice server at the pool. I work in hospitality so I'm very easy to please. The service industry is tough, and I try to always give people the benefit of the doubt and be understanding of the fact that it might just be an off day for them. It just seems like Mandalay Bay hasn't been focused on service, which is really disappointing when you're using hard-earned cash for a special occasion.

The staff were great and attentive when I first checked in, which made for a lovely start to my stay. I loved my quick weekend trip here for the iHeartRadio Festival and especially appreciated the convenience of being right next to T-Mobile Arena. The walk back and forth was a breeze! I also really appreciated the no-smoking policy, especially since I had my 5-year-old niece with me.

I did like that the property was away from the strip. What I did not like was the size of the room/Villa ! The villa was not as LARGE as the pictures depict ! The staff was very helpful and nice !
